Wholevine is the creation of Barbara Banke, Owner of Kendall Jackson Winery and Peggy Furth formerly of Chalk Hill Winery. They set out to utilize as much as possible from every part of the grape harvested for their winemaking. They decided to make a Grapeseed oil as well as a flour from the seeds and grape skins from several varieties. They use these base products to make other culinary creations. We spent the day with Head Chef at Kendall Jackson, Justin Wangler and his crew shooting the bounty created from these flours and oils. Pastas, Crackers and Breads. All were amazing.
